It just takes one glance at all the new construction in Lake View to notice that condo developments in the area are getting bigger and more modern. At 24 stories, 541 West Cornelia is set to be one of the tallest in Lake View.
The building, 541 W Cornelia Ave, has 22 condos from $1.295 to $2.95 million for the penthouse, says Suzy Thomas, a broker associate with Rubloff Residential Properties, which is marketing the project. All of the units (which are each about 2,700 square feet) are available, she says. One unit is on each floor and they have three bedrooms and 2.5 baths while the penthouse (about 4,200 square feet) has four bedrooms and 3.5 baths.
Construction is scheduled to begin this fall with deliveries expected in March 2008, Thomas says.
The project’s developer is JDL Development Corporation. The building replaces a single-family home and multi-unit building, Thomas says.
Garage parking costs $45,000, and features include lake views from the 14th floor up, Wolf, Sub-Zero and Bosch appliances in the kitchen, terraces and insulated aluminum clad windows.
