By looking north through the Yo office window, we can all see the 22-story 757 Orleans @ Chicago inching its way up into the River North sky. By my count, the high-rise’s first nine floors of residential space have taken shape over the building’s garage. And according to Dana Berke, sales consultant for The Gammonley Group, the building should be ready for first deliveries sometime in the latter half of this year.
So the construction site at 757 N Orleans St looks a little different than it did back in August; sales figures, however, look about the same. Berke said the building has sold approximately 55 percent of its 198 units to date, which is about five points better than they were announcing in the summer of ’07.
757 Orleans’ condos have one to three beds and one to two baths, and range in price from the $280s to $530s.
