Wow! You should do a little more research and maybe go to the actual site of this new building to see what is available nearby before printing a story like this. There is a Target within a few blocks and Mariano’s a little farther than that which both sell groceries, lots of restaurants and bars on Clark, Dearborn and State, all within a couple of blocks of this new building, and Whole Foods, Jewel and other retail on Roosevelt and Canal. The South Loop has a LOT to offer. If I was the developer of this building, I would not be happy at all with this poorly researched, negative article about the neighborhood they are developing in. Open your eyes!!

    • JND, I have taken your suggestions into account and will be updating the review today.

You might also want to update the “Parks, recreation” section. As AMLI Lofts is only a block east from here, I would think what you wrote for them applies equally (i.e., Grant Park half a mile east, Dearborn Park, and Roosevelt Park tennis courts in vicinity.

        • AMLI Lofts is two blocks east, on the other side of the tracks.

This section will be updated as this project nears completion and the RiverLine development, which will include river access, progresses. The area is poised for fairly rapid change.
