Eight O Five, the new apartment tower at 805 N LaSalle, had risen to the 22nd floor by the time of my visit yesterday. The 295-unit building will top out at 35 stories.
The south-facing sundeck at Chestnut Tower provided a look down on the construction activity.
I had an almost eye-level view of the tower crane.
