I recently visited one of Chicago’s many bed and breakfasts, the Welcome Inn Manor, and chatted with two families visiting from Tennessee and with Mell, one of the owners.
The Welcome Inn Manor is a beautifully-furnished, stylishly decorated 1890s-era home on a lushly-landscaped corner lot. It has three large guest bedroom suites, each with its own bath. Guests have the run of the spacious home, deck and yard.
