A first look inside the new Gateway West Loop apartments

I arrived at Gateway West Loop yesterday prepared for a hardhat tour, and was surprised to find more rapid progress than expected.

Door staff and leasing and management staff are on-site. The lobby is nearing completion, and a furnished one-bedroom model is available for viewing.

The model opens into a single-wall kitchen with space for a dining area. The kitchen has good cabinet and counter space, quartz counter tops, a tile backsplash, and a stainless steel appliance package that includes a gas range, dishwasher and built-in microwave.

The living area leads out onto a balcony that spans almost the full width of the apartment.

The bedroom has space for large furniture, space-expanding floor-to-ceiling windows and a walk-in closet.

The bath has a nice-sized vanity with two banks of drawers.

The in-unit washer / dryer is in a large walk-in closet as you enter the apartment.

The apartment has exposed concrete columns and ceilings, a look that has become increasingly popular in new apartments.

Floor plans for the studio, convertible, one- and two-bedroom, two-bath apartments are online, along with information about rents and availability dates.

Gateway West Loop has an attractive West Loop location next door to Mariano’s and around the corner from Whole Foods.

Gateway West Loop has a full suite of amenities, including a rooftop pool and sundeck with dramatic skyline views, resident lounges and a fitness center.

Gateway West Loop is pet-friendly and smoke-free. The building will have on-site leasing and management staff, 24/7 front desk and concierge service, and valet dry cleaning service by Pressbox.
