A fresh approach to selling gut rehabs and new construction homes in Chicago

Last month Greg Rose of Fresh Horizon Realty talked to Joe Zekas about how his brokerage differs from other local real estate companies when it comes to selling newly rehabbed and new-construction homes. Fresh Horizon gives buyers “$40,000 to $50,000 more in purchasing power” thanks to special financing from participating community banks, including low-interest mortgages with no PMI.

“The financing alone generates a tremendous amount of interest,” Rose says, but Fresh Horizon’s selection of homes is also appealing to buyers. Gut-rehabs like the Sawyer Place condo seen here feature many of the luxury finishes and upgrades found in brand new units.

Fresh Horizon is promoting a “Fresh Look” sale at several properties through April 19. Each pre-approved buyer who tours one of these properties will also receive a $25 Best Buy gift card just for visiting.
