VA-guaranteed loans may be the most misunderstood type of mortgage loan in the market today. Last week Joe Zekas met with American Street Mortgage Vice President of Veteran Lending Daniel Chookaszian at Optima Old Orchard Woods in Skokie to talk about loans, and the first thing they discussed was the VA program. Chookaszian specializes in VA loans and volunteers with retired and disabled veterans.
