A list of Loop / New East Side apartments with indoor pools

Seven of the 14 apartment buildings in Chicago’s Loop / New East Side neighborhood have indoor pools.

We’ve listed all of them below, with the newest buildings first. The links will take you to our detailed, richly visual apartment reviews which link, in turn, to the building websites where you’ll find near real-time rent and availability info in most cases.

You’ll find all of the buildings with indoor pools in other downtown neighborhoods on our at-a-glance lists of Downtown and Near North Side apartments.

73 East Lake opened in 2014. The pool is flanked by three two-story high window walls. The pool area has a whirlpool, sauna and steam rooms, and a tiled shower room open to the pool. A mezzanine lounge and a yoga studio overlook the pool. There’s a spacious landscaped sundeck with gas grills and cabanas adjacent to the pool.

OneEleven also was completed last year. The south wall of the indoor pool opens to a sprawling, multi-level landscaped sundeck with gas grills and screened seating areas.

Randolph Tower was built in 1929 as the Steuben Club and completely renovated in 2012. The skylit pool, on the 27th floor, has an adjacent outdoor “sky park” with a hot tub.

Oqkwood 200 Squared opened in 2010. The south wall of the indoor pool opens seasonally to a landscaped outdoor deck.

The apartments at Aqua, which opened in 2009, share amenities with the condo and hotel portions of the tower. Aqua also has an outdoor pool on its rambling amenities deck.

North Harbor Tower dates to 1988. The landscaped terrace adjacent to the skylit indoor pool was recently renovated. The Brish Swim School offers kiddie classes in the pool.

Millennium Park Plaza was built in the 1960s. The 38th floor pool has a domed skylight. The sundeck is a floor higher, on the roof of the building.
