A look at Bucktown’s lofts

by Joseph Askins on 11/10/09

With the completion of the Baer Lofts, it appears that the market for new adapted-reuse units in Bucktown has just about dried up. Because of that, @properties agent David Wolf and I focused mostly on lofts from the ’90s and early aughts during our neighborhood drive-around. We started off outside the Signature Lofts at 1750 N Wolcott Ave, a loft conversion dating back to 2000 where two homes are up for sale. From there, we traveled east to the PAC Lofts at 1735 N Paulina St, where David is marketing a developer-owned single-floor space with 2,200 square feet. Finally, we head back west, across Damen and Milwaukee avenues to the 2200 block of West Wabansia Avenue, site of the Clock Tower, Pinnacle, and Acme Lofts developments.
