Wednesday was hazy, but there was enough sunlight to appreciate this spectacular skyline panorama from a top-level deck at Union Row Townhomes in East Pilsen. Joe Zekas and Union Row project manager Zev Salomon met up again to talk about the project’s recent success following some substantial price cuts. The four-bedroom, four-bath townhome they toured is currently priced at $499,900, and is one of just three homes still listed for sale at the development.
Union Row comprises 35 townhomes in the 600 block of West 16th Street. Starting in October 2009, Belgravia Group started cutting prices on remaining units by as much as 31 percent, which resulted in eight sales in the first quarter of 2010 alone. As Zev mentions near the end of this video, the development’s most recent sales have appraised out above their contracted prices.
