A new dog park near new South Loop condos

Dog owners at the new 1345 Wabash condos will have a short jaunt to Coliseum Park. The dog-friendly area there is being upgraded, and its shady tranquility will delight pups who like to watch kids at play.

A bit further south, the new Fred Anderson Dog Park is taking shape, and it will set a new standard for South Loop and Chicago dog parks. The park will have separate areas for large and small dogs, a drinking fountain and a space to host outdoor music performances. The park is named after jazz saxophonist Fred Anderson.

1345 Wabash is setting a new standard in style, design and value for South Loop condos. The Brininstool + Lynch designed building will have finishes and fixtures typically found only in much higher-priced homes.

1345 Wabash is nearly topped out and slated to begin occupancy early next year. One-bedroom condos are pre-completion priced from $228,900 and two-bedrooms from $290,900. A sales and design center is open at 1620 S Michigan Ave, just around the corner from the new Fred Anderson park.
