The high-rise apartment building at 3130 N Lake Shore Dr in Lakeview East has been undergoing an extensive makeover during the past several months. The lobby and mail room have been redone, the hallways have been completely redecorated and new elevators are in service.
A new fitness room, packed with equipment, just opened to residents today and I stopped by for a look. The next project, which begins immediately, is a new business center with free wi-fi.
