A new look for The Peshtigo’s replacement

Peshtigo rendering from Solomon Cordwell Buenz, ChicagoBig ups to the boarders at SkyscraperPage (and Mark at Curbed, too) for pointing out some new renderings of the rental high-rise planned for 515 N Peshtigo Ct in Streeterville, for years the site of a proposed 58-story condo tower called The Peshtigo.

Related Midwest’s old plans came courtesy of Ralph Johnson of Perkins & Will, who designed buildings like The Contemporaine and 235 Van Buren. The high-rise shown in these new renderings is the work of Solomon Cordwell Buenz, whose most recent work includes two Loop rental towers, 200 Squared and 215 West.

According to posts at SkyscraperPage, the building has been downsized to a height of 465 feet, with up to 500 apartments and 400 parking spaces. More info will be presented at a community meeting scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Sheraton Hotel.
