We dropped by an opening party for River Park North yesterday and got a look inside one of the last remaining townhouses in the 56-unit development, located at 2711 W Irving Park Rd. Since we posted on the project last week, sales have progressed.
Four of the 14 riverfront townhomes sold in the past week, leaving four still for sale, according to Rob Sikkel, one of the @properties agents who is marketing the project. Prices on the remaining units range from the $510s to $630s.
We’ll post a short video chat with Sikkel about the development soon.

You should have changed the title of this to “A Puke inside of River Park North”. Not only does it totally look like crap, but it has those classic Jeff Ayersman-esque touches, such as excessive parking, inward-orientation, and all those goody-two-shoes stuff that all Bush-loving suburbanites want to have while pretending that they’re hip city dwellers. In reality, it’s yet another example of bringing the trash that belongs in Wilmette into city limits.
Says the guy living in New Jersey like a little pussy hiding behind his keyboard.
Ahhh, the use of profanity. Nothing gets one’s rage across quite like that
the urban politician,
This project couldn’t be built in Wilmette, except perhaps along Skokie Road.
Thanks for clarifying that you know as little about Wilmette – where I live – as you do about the development you comment on.
I think I’ve seen enough to get the picture.
It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to see that the above development is about as suburban and inward-oriented as they get. What’s there to argue?
If it’s the Wilmette part that stuck in your craw, then lets go ahead and put another suburb’s name in its stead. I think you’re intelligent enough to get my point
