There’s doubtless a back-story to this that may cast the encounter in a different light. Until someone supplies that story, we’ll let this stand on its own.
The funny thing is that these TIF’s also serve as a huge fund for Alderman campaigns as a great deal if not most of the companies, developers, and firms awarded TIF money are giving money directly or indirectly (through LLC’s) back to the Alderman in the form of campaign contributions. Thus, we are all subsidizing Alderamadic campaigns and retirement accounts via taxes.
IF I ever engaged in such behavior odds are I would be the thrower.
I never confront someone like that guy confronted Munoz. However, if someone confronts me like that I might go a “little funny in the head” to paraphrase “Dr Strangelove”.
Yeah, I wonder how long that guy was in his office. However, you’d think Munoz could call a Peace Officer. But then the poor cop would be on film kicking this guy out and have to deal with that.
I hope everyone here finds the time not just to comment on the content of the video, but also becomes actively nvolved. This is the primary reason why politicians at every level of our government do as they do, becuase they know that most people just talk about it, complaint and ends there, no action for reform. Stop being just talkers or bloggers, get on teh phone and demand a meeting with your Alderman, TIFs are killing our communities, over taxing home owners and funneling funds under the table to those connected with the lawmakers in lieu or quid pro quo for campaign financing ‘donations’ aka payoffs.
Maybe I can bring some more information about what happend. Here is the original version that was take by people who accompanied me to a set meeting with Mr. Munoz who did not keep his appointment and went wild when mentioning the TIF he was supporting on 26 and Kostner.

I saw a differently edited version of this months ago.
Munoz was acting like a nut. I’m embarrassed to say I’ve done similar stuff too. Hopefully, I won’t in the future.
Looks like Munoz chills out when he sees the camera. This is also the same alderman whose father was busted in his own ward for a fake ID ring.

He defends his dad and disses federal agents. His dad later pleaded guilty.
IP…
were you the nut thrower or throwee?

Embarrassing to think about.

no, the funniest thing is the lighted mirror right outside the door to Munoz’s office, wouldn’t want to head out with a hair out of place!

Hello,
Maybe I can bring some more information about what happend. Here is the original version that was take by people who accompanied me to a set meeting with Mr. Munoz who did not keep his appointment and went wild when mentioning the TIF he was supporting on 26 and Kostner.
