Touring the top floor of Urban Sandbox

by Jeremy Schnitker on 6/29/09

We’ve been in Urban Sandbox a couple of times, but we’ve never captured any video of its top-floor units until I stopped by on Saturday afternoon. Of the two homes still on the market at 1615 N Wolcott Ave, one is an eastern-facing, three-bedroom / three-bath on the top floor, listed for $1.29 million. According to developer / agent Karen Ranquist, Ranquist Development cut the condo’s price by $100,000 last week.

A three-bedroom / two-bath on the second floor is still for sale in the $690s.

You’ll see there’s quite a bit to like about the development: its location near the heart of Bucktown / Wicker Park nightlife, its modern design, and the unobstructed views of downtown from the top-floor units’ sizable wrap-around balconies.
