A video tour of a changing Chatham

The Chicago Sun-Times recently ran a high-profile series of articles about the changes in Chatham, a neighborhood that has long been considered the crown jewel of Chicago’s African-American community.

After reading the articles I reached out to Worlee Glover, a man who knows Chatham well and who operates the Concerned Citizens of Chatham page at Facebook. Worlee kindly consented to drive me around Chatham and talk about Chatham’s past, present and future.

This is the first video of a series, most of which we spend driving around the neighborhood talking about everything from schools to Wal-Mart. You can see more from Chatham at this YouTube playlist.
