A view of a "-view"

SpringviewRemember all those “-view” projects Mark has covered over the past couple of months? You know: Pulaskiview? Chicagoview II?

Well, it dawned on us during our afternoon drive yesterday that we haven’t had a look at one of these Dolce Living Homes developments up close, so we drove out to the western edge of Logan Square to get a shot of Springview.

As you can see, this building and its companion at 1920 N Springfield Ave have the yellow-brick balconies that seem to be a Dolce Living signature. You’d need a few of them side-by-side for that blocky Aztec geometry to really emerge, but Dolce has only finished the bookend buildings so far.

Once complete, Springview will have 46 units including some three-bedrooms priced as low as the $280s.
