A walk-to-train home in Wilmette

by Sponsored post on 2/5/10

With 3,100 square feet, three stories, five bedrooms, and 4.5 baths, the renovated single-family home at 1418 Elmwood Ave in Wilmette represents “a lot of house” for its $1.04 million price tag, says Coldwell Banker agent Linda Martin. Joe Zekas met Linda and fellow agent Cliff Breslow at the home on Sunday, a day when buyers were out in full force.

Beyond fancy features like a koi pond and hobby room, the home is situated almost exactly halfway between the Wilmette and Kenilworth Metra stations, making commuting into Chicago a breeze. In this video, Linda and Cliff talk about some of these perks and give some insights into recent market activity and traffic in the North Shore market.
