An Edward Dart masterpiece on a Glencoe acre

by Joe Zekas on 10/7/13

Architect Edward Dart completed nearly 100 projects before his premature death at 53, among them a landmark home at 350 Sunrise Circle in Glencoe.

The current owners of the home were captivated by it from the moment they first saw it, and enjoyed it for 38 years.

The 17-room home has 7 bedrooms, 4 full and 2 half baths, and a level of detail that needs years to experience fully. It may be a mid-century modernist home, but it has a warmth and an intimacy not usually associated with that style.

The home is priced at $3,150,000. Coldwell Banker’s Jen Waldman is your tour guide in the video.
