Another vintage new listing in Northbrook

by Joe Zekas on 3/15/11

The last half dozen “new” listings I’ve looked at in the northern suburbs have all been on and off the market for at least 3 years.

The listing history of the home at 2745 Prince St in Northbrook, for example, dates to March 13 of 2007. A foreclosure suit was filed in July of 2010 and dismissed by agreement in October.

The 6,500 square foot, 8-bedroom, 5 ½ bath home boasts a number of unusual features, including 4 Subzeros, 4 washers, 3 dryers and a locker room. The listing mentions a “kids playground in back” but doesn’t mention the Walgreens loading dock in back.

The home is priced at $899,000.

This house was in foreclosure. The agent selling it, is also the owner. He should disclose that. He is in violation.
