Are there pigs, wolves or kangaroos in your condo?

According to The Real Deal, New Yorkers renters and condo owners are bringing home a range of exotic pets, including “teacup pigs, wolves and even a kangaroo.” Perhaps it’s a therapeutic kangaroo protected by the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Twenty years ago Chicago’s most notorious Gold Coast pet was Laddie, a Vietnamese pot-bellied pig. No exotic pet has achieved comparable local media attention since then, to my knowledge.

Does anyone know of any non-traditional pets living in Chicago condos?
