Bridgeport – a body, a bowling alley and more

by Joe Zekas on 7/16/08

Joe Askins and Joe Zekas of YoChicago took a new construction tour of Bridgeport on Monday with two great tour guides. Dave Samber, a friend of more than 30 years, is the proprietor of Bridgeport’s Polo Café & Catering and a nearly 25-year resident of Bridgeport. Dave’s Shark Veracruz recently won a Best of Taste of Chicago award. Our second guide, Donna Murray of Gordon Realty, was born and raised in Bridgeport and never left.

Part four of our new construction tour of Bridgeport begins with chatter about a back yard body and an at-home bowling alley and proeeds to a leisurely drive along Halsted Street.

The first three parts of our Bridgeport tour can be found on our Bridgeport channel at YouTube.
