Brook Furniture Rental brings a vacant condo to life

by sponsored post on 7/20/12

Trying to sell an empty home can be risky. Not every prospective buyer can imagine the full potential of a home without the benefit of strategically placed furniture and accents.

Cortney DeArmond of Brook Furniture Rental staged a formerly bare, loft-like condo – Unit 513 at 909 W Washington – for listing broker Nicholas Apostal of Coldwell Banker’s Apostal Group.

Cortney’s goal was to enhance the contemporary feel of the 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo, which sits in a prime West Loop location. She added furniture, artwork and accents that fit perfectly, helping bring the condo to life.

Home staging is a relatively new phenomenon in the real estate market, and not everyone has become aware of its value. According to Apostal, staging can have a dramatic impact on the market time for a home, especially in today’s crowded, highly competitive market.
