A former wine storage facility at 1927 N Milwaukee Ave in Bucktown is set to get new life as a 16-unit loft development called The Baer Lofts. The development takes its name from the Baer Fireproof Warehouse Company, the original occupant of the brick and terra cotta building. Jameson Realty Group plans to roll out a sales center and model by the spring, according to sales associate Jeff Ralson. One-bedroom lofts start in the $270s and two-bedrooms in the $370s. Let’s hope that includes a leftover barrel of Pinot Noir, eh?

It’s great to see a building like this get a new lease on life
Think they’ll add / expand windows?
^ That’s a good point. There’s obviously room to expand the, esp on the lower levels. I’m imagining this thing with bigger windows and it doesn’t look bad at all
$270?! WTF?!?! I’m sure they’ll find some suckers though.
Maybe Kramer will want the entire top floor.
