CA23 developer closing out summer with a West Loop block party

With just a few weeks of summer left, The Brixton Group is throwing a block party on North Aberdeen Street this weekend for its new neighbors in the West Loop. U2 tribute band Vertigo, a local act notorious for its summer festival appearances, will perform as guests enjoy complimentary food and drink.

CA23, a Brixton development, is the star of the show and presumably will be open for touring, but local retailers will be handing out discount vouchers as an incentive to draw out a crowd. The party will go down from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, in front of CA23, 23 N Aberdeen St, between Washington and Madison streets.
