Case-Shiller Tuesday: Chicago values still down year-over-year, but inching up month-to-month

Chicago condo values were down more than 7 percent in August compared to one year earlier, and home values overall dipped 3 percent, according to the newest Standard & Poor’s / Case-Shiller Home Price Indices, released this morning. At the same time, Chicago is one of four metro areas that has posted at least four consecutive increases month-to-month.
