Castle

Is it a Bavarian castle or a condo building? This dramatic, 19th-century stunner on the 4900 block of South Drexel Boulevard originally belonged to the University of Chicago, but now it and the adjacent buildings tucked behind it hold about 62 condos, according to Kimberly Chase-Harding, the Coldwell Banker agent marketing the new McGill Parc Townhomes under construction next door.

GORGEOUS!! Great find, Joel.

I am happy that such a breathtaking structure has been preserved.

Those townhomes flanking the development concern me, though–they could contribute to the site or take away from it, depending on how they are planned/which materials are used. I clicked the link to the site but there is virtually no info.

Can the Yo find out anything?
