Century Tower is a 28-story, 292-unit landmark building at 182 W Lake St in the Loop. When it was completed in 1930, it was the tallest reinforced concrete structure in the world. It was originally built as offices, then converted to condominiums, and recently de-converted to rental apartments.
A tall metal ornament caps a ziggurat at the top of the building.
Century Tower has a mix of studio to 3-bedroom, 2-bath apartments. Floor plans and near real-time rent and availability info are online.
The newly-renovated apartments have high ceilings, wide plank flooring, roller blinds, and a variety of finish packages. Kitchens have stainless steel appliances including electric ranges, dishwashers and built-in microwaves.
Baths have mirrored make-up cabinets and attractive tile. All of the apartments have front-loading in-unit washer / dryers.
