DePaul / Sheffield's boundaries are Armitage Ave (2000 N) and Cortland St (1900 N) north to Fullerton Ave (2400 N), Halsted St (800 W) west to Southport Ave (1400 W).

Most of the area is often referred to interchangeably as DePaul or Sheffield, and parts of it as West DePaul. 60614 is the ZIP Code for the area.

DePaul University's Lincoln Park campus is located in the neighborhood.
