Portage Park, Community Area 15 of the city's official 77, is bounded by Belmont Ave (3200 N) north to Lawrence Ave (4800 N) east of Austin Ave (6000 W) and Irving Park Rd (4000 N) to Lawrence Ave west of Austin.

The east - west boundaries are Kenton Ave (4600 W) to Austin Ave (6000 W) south of Irvng Park Rd, and Metra RR tracks and Cicero Ave (4800 W) west to Narragansett Ave (6400 W) north of Irving Park Rd.
