Last October we wondered whether Jerome Bressert was Chicago’s sleaziest rental agent – a category that has tons of competitors vying for the top spot.
We posed our question based on ads that Bressert had placed on Zillow for properties that won’t do business with him, and not solely on his arrest records . When we posted on Bressert’s arrests we noted that he was innocent until proven otherwise.
A case that was filed against Bressert after the date of our post – involving charges of battery, domestic battery causing bodily harm, and reckless conduct – resulted in a guilty plea last month, according to the DuPage County Clerk’s website.
Be on the lookout for Craigslist ads from a rental agent identified only as “Jerome B” from Exit Realty Rentals.
