Chicago’s West Loop ranges a mile-and-a-half from east to west, from the Chicago River to Ashland Ave (1600 W), and nearly a mile from Lake St (200 N) on the north to the Eisenhower Expressway on the south. In a neighborhood this large, some locations are far more convenient than others.
The new Circa 922, 922 W Washington St, has an enviable location in the West Loop, steps from shopping, dining, nightlife, transportation and a popular park.
Randolph Street’s restaurant row, a Chicagoland destination dining spot with dozens of foodie venues, is a short block north of Circa 922.
Head in any direction from Circa 922 and you may be overwhelmed by the number and variety of local restaurants.
Greektown is largely a tourist draw, but some of the restaurants are definitely worth a visit.
Mariano’s is a few blocks away and Whole Foods will be opening early next year just two short blocks east of the building.
Park space is scarce in the West Loop. Mary Bartelme Park, a popular spot for dog owners, is two short blocks south of Circa 922.
Circa 922 will be a walk-to-work location for many residents, but there’s frequent bus service into the Loop a block south on Madison, and CTA service to the Loop and near-west suburbs a few minutes’ walk to the northwest. There’s a bike lane along Washington outside the building, and cabs are always plentiful in the area.
Circa 922 is adjacent to and will share some facilities with an existing 7-story, 45-unit loft building at 123 N Sangamon. Circa 922’s amenities will include a swimming pool and sun terrace, fitness center, cyber café, coffee bar, rooftop lounge and heated parking garage.
Apartments at Circa 922 will feature plank flooring in living areas, and kitchens with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and subway tile backsplashes. The apartments will have private balconies, ceiling fans, and in-home washers and dryer.
