Closings begin at Silver Tower

Silver Tower, 303 W Ohio St, ChicagoA word of thanks goes out to commenter Mike, who informed readers last night about the latest entry on Silver Tower’s construction blog. “Yes, our first 5 residents move into Silver Tower over the July 4th weekend (no doubt just in time to see the fireworks),” the blog’s administrator wrote yesterday evening.

We’ve been promised a full look around the building, located at 303 W Ohio St in River North. Hopefully this news means we’ll be getting inside sometime soon.

Silver Tower’s remaining one- to three-bedroom condos are priced from the $270s to $790s. In April we reported that Stonegate Development was giving buyers $5,000 towards closing costs and offering to pay one year of assessments. The building also has been approved (NOTE: is pursuing approval) for FHA-backed mortgages.

Hey Joseph, just a heads up, the building has NOT yet been approved for FHA-backed mortgages. It is something Stonegate continues to work on.
