Coldwell Banker rolls out overhauled website

Coldwell Banker Online website

Yes, our parent company has a professional relationship with Coldwell Banker, but no, that has nothing to do with our feelings about the brokerage’s website. We use ColdwellBankerOnline.com frequently because its property search is easy to use, and because unlike other companies’ sites, it actually allows us to search for rental listings, something you’d think would be a no-brainer in today’s market.

This week, Coldwell Banker rolled out an updated version of its website, featuring an improved home search on the front page, the ability to recall past searches and feature similar properties with every visit, and links and widgets to Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. New community pages pull together information from Wikipedia, Flickr, Foursquare, the MLS, and more, and include data like the number of active listings, the low, average, and high prices for various types of property, the median age, and median household income for the neighborhood.

Visitors can browse the website and then leave feedback on the new design by clicking an icon in the lower right-hand corner.

What features do you find most helpful in a home search, and which sites best meet your needs?
