Concession collection: Deals at three downtown rental high-rises

I spent part of the morning calling some of the newer rental high-rises to find out what kinds of incentives and concessions they’re offering new tenants. Here are the answers from three locations, complete with some video we’ve shot at each building within the past year.

Streeter Place, 355 E Ohio St in Streeterville:

• Three months free on 14-month leases for most two- and three-bedroom apartments.
• Two months free on 12-month leases on all other apartments.
• Parking for $99.

Echelon at K Station, 353 N Desplaines St in the Fulton River District:

• Two months free (prorated) on all units.

1401 South State, 1401 S State St in the South Loop:

• Discounted rates on select units.
• $1,000 “look-and-lease” deal on units leased within 24 hours.
