Last week Curbed’s Mark Boyer caught up with JDL Development prez Jim Letchinger, to get the latest on 1233 North Wells, a new 16-story, 250-unit apartment building set to rise in Old Town. Crews have torn down and hauled away the site’s old Grossinger Cadillac dealership, and construction is “imminent.” An existing terra cotta facade will stay put, however, “to preserve the integral Old Town atmosphere,” Mark reports.
