Construction checkup: Models open, occupancy up to 27th floor at 235 Van Buren

Scott Hoskins, president and managing broker at CMK Realty, took us through one of 235 Van Buren’s new models last week and followed up with us this morning with some more information about the building’s status.

CMK has put together 12 furnished models — some of which you can see in these images courtesy of Padgett & Company — and has received certificates of occupancy up to the tower’s 27th floor, Hoskins says. CMK has also moved out of its sales center at the corner of Wells and Van Buren streets and into the building.

Buyers signed nine contracts in the building this month, Hoskins says.
