Easy access to public transportation and to the city’s expressway grid has been one of the attractions for buyers at 235 Van Buren in Chicago’s Loop. The prospect of a public park directly adjacent to the building has been another.
Three components of the massive, multi-year project to rebuild Wacker Drive and Congress Parkway have recently been completed, easing access for 235 Van Buren residents to I-290 and I-94, and bringing the park a few steps closer to a reality. The Eisenhower Expressway exit ramp at Franklin St is now open. Franklin St has re-opened between Harrison and Van Buren. And Van Buren is now a two-way street between Franklin and Wells, affording much quicker expressway access from the building.
235 Van Buren still has a selection of units available for purchase directly and via its rent-to-own program.
