Construction underway at Metro Place, MCL offering incentives

A couple weeks back, we spent a whole day looking at new construction in the Tri-Taylor neighborhood. Just west of that neighborhood, in Lawndale, MCL Companies’ new single-family and condo community, Metro Place, is under construction. We stopped by and found a row of foundations and a handful of framed single-families lying in the middle of a wide expanse of dirt. So far, there are no roads linking the houses. Condos at Metro Place start in the $270s and single-family homes in the $620s, and MCL is offering $5,000 or $10,000 toward upgrades (pdf) on contracts written by Aug. 31.
