Construction update – new Evanston apartments

The 214-unit AMLI Evanston is topped out, and appears to be fully enclosed. The brick cladding is being installed on the north end of the building, giving a clearer vision of its final look. The floor plans (pdf) and the building plan (pdf) are online, and it appears that some of the residents may be staring at a lot of hallway before reaching their apartments. We recently noted that the building is targeting March 2013 occupancy.

Seventeen17 has been rebranded more simply as 1717. The building is topped out and promising delivery in April 2013 for its “eco-chic” studio to 3-bedroom apartments.

The online schedule for the 80-unit Central Station called for framing of the third and fourth-floor walls in mid- and late November, respectively. As of yesterday, the building was halfway toward its 4-story height and touting May 2013 occupancy.
