The Thanksgiving holiday is a time for sharing with family, with friends and with the larger community.
Chicago’s North Shore communities rank among the most affluent in the area – and in the entire country. Their wealth can easily obscure the fact that some residents of the North Shore are needy, and some may be hungry.
The Winnetka office of Koenig & Strey, one of our clients, is soliciting donations for the New Trier Township Food Pantry, which serves residents of Wilmette, Winnetka, Glencoe, and parts of Northfield and Glenview. The pantry assists about 100 families each month.
Associates of the office will make it easy to donate between now and November 20th. They’ll pick up canned and packaged food, useful paper goods and toiletry items from your home in the area, or you can visit the office and an associate will meet you at your car.
