According to data just released (PDF) by the Illinois Association of Realtors (IAR), the number of condo sale in the 3rd quarter of 2011 increased 16.5% in Cook County over Q3 2010 sales. DuPage and Lake County sales increased 44.1% and 40.2%, respectively.
Median condo selling prices during the comparable periods fell 10.6% in Cook County, 10% in DuPage County and 18% in Lake County.
