Crain’s Chicago Business is reporting (behind its pay wall) that the 342-unit Roosevelt Collection project is going rental, and that condo contracts will be cancelled.
This switch has been widely rumored of late.
A number of newer rental projects in the South Loop are already offering “free rent” deals, and you can expect the competition for tenants to accelerate.

Anyway, i think it is the right way to go.
I agree. It’s the smartest option. I think they can get a lot of people renting this place… More than buyers that is.
I would think they would announce what retailers they have signed up. This would help sell or rent units.. This is what makes this development unique not the condos.
