Creating MoveSmart’s neighborhood finder

by Joseph Askins on 11/13/09

On Monday MoveSmart.org launched its new neighborhood finder, a tool that will direct people to Chicago neighborhoods and suburbs (by ZIP code) based upon their priorities for amenities and services. On Wednesday I sat down with MoveSmart co-founder Justin Massa in our conference room to talk about the site’s history and aims for promoting fair housing and to peruse some of the neighborhood finder’s features.

Massa stopped by the Yo office in March 2008, when MoveSmart was still seeking funding. Watch our video from that visit, and stay tuned for a video demonstration of the neighborhood finder early next week.
