De-clutter your apartment for a good cause

by Joe Zekas on 8/30/12

Chicago’s real estate community has a long history of involvement in an endless whirl of charitable activities, both at the corporate and individual level. The range of causes supported by the real estate industry is as varied as human needs, which are always greater than the available resources.

Property managers have an advantage in facilitating charitable giving. They can reach people where they live, and make it easy for them to give where they live.

Planned Property Management, one of our sponsors, helps support a variety of charities, including the Red Cross of Greater Chicago and the Lakeview Pantry. One current campaign, outlined in the above video, is soliciting residents of their buildings for donations of clothing to the Epilepsy Foundation of Chicago.

You can follow the company’s charitable efforts at Planned Property’s Facebook page.
