When we saw auction company Hudson & Marshall‘s slogan, “Enjoy the intensity of the real thing,” we hoped they were auctioning off Javier Bardem, or maybe Clive Owen. Alas, only real estate will be on the block this weekend, when the company auctions off more than 195 foreclosed Chicago-area homes at the Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge, 1200 Burr Ridge Pkwy.
Hudson & Marshall’s Web site has a preview of the kinds of homes that will auctioned off, such as this five-bedroom, two-bath home at 12112 S Eggleston Ave (creatively spelled on the Web site as “South Eggelston Avenue”), or this six-bedroom, four-bath home at 707 N Pine Ave.
