Deals open Union Row to more buyers

Belgravia Group’s decision to slash prices by 30 percent at Union Row has opened the development up to buyers who’ve been priced out of the townhome market. People who had been looking for condos can now consider a four-story home with a two-car garage, says Belgravia Group Vice President Zev Salomon. The reductions have also brought the prices of six units down below the threshold for FHA-backed loans, meaning buyers can get a Union Row townhome with a 3.5 percent down payment.

Since putting the new pricing in place, Belgravia has drawn up contracts for four homes, putting the 35-unit development close to the 70-percent sold mark, Salomon says.
