Demolition nearing completion at 200 North Michigan

by Joe Zekas on 5/13/14

If the image above matches your memory of 200 N Michigan Ave, your memory needs updating.

As of yesterday afternoon most of the building had been reduced to rubble and carted away.

A John Buck Co venture has secured an $87 million construction loan and will build a 42-story, 402 unit apartment tower with ground level retail on the site. Occupancy is targeted for early in 2016.

You can see all of the new apartment projects that have been recently completed, have begun construction or have been proposed in downtown Chicago on our at-a-glance list.
